 The VRLab has state-of-the-art Virtual Reality facilities which is based on the CAVE technology with all peripheries necessary for generating 3-D audio and visual perception while immersed in the virtual environment.
The CAVE system is manufactured by FakeSpace® with all its tracking and navigation equipment. The operation of the CAVE is controlled by SGI® Onyx2 workstation.
The VRLab has also a user room with SGI®/O2 workstations communicating with the Onyx2 workstation via a server SGI® Origin3200.
